
Reliability & Maintenance Engineer
Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Amazon Robotics in Gurgaon/Gurugram, India. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall facility and administration activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our robotics maintenance and repair systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks according to the Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
- Respond to trouble tickets (TT) for corrective maintenance, service, and repair works.
- Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty or Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
- Monitor and record energy consumption.
- Conduct Diesel Generator (DG) maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and associated wiring methods and materials.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components including photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, and encoders.
- Support production in a safe and customer-focused manner.
- Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and operational equipment such as trolleys, cages, and carts.
- Conduct regular checks of fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
- Perform maintenance, oiling, and greasing of carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
- Attend to regular electrical works.
- Issue hot work and height work permits.
- Address minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
- Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Maintain tools inventory.
- Manage and execute the PPM schedule.
- Oversee soft services activities including pest control, housekeeping, and scrap/garbage disposal.
- Manage agency staff and overall shift operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in conveyor, automation, or control systems maintenance.
