Reliability Engineer (Weekend, Off Hours)

Tower Research Capital, founded in 1998, seeks a Reliability Engineer for weekend and off-hours support. This role involves providing level one and level two support for production trading systems, managing the Order Management System and market data delivery systems, and monitoring system health. Responsibilities also include working with clients, contributing to system design, serving as a primary technical contact, and providing weekend coverage (8:30 pm to 8:30 am IST).

Responsibilities:

• Provide level one and level two support for Production Trading support systems.
• Manage Order Management System and Market data delivery systems.
• Monitor and report on system status and health.
• Collaborate with clients.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the support system.
• Serve as the primary technical contact.
• Provide weekend coverage (8:30 pm to 8:30 am IST).

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in Trading support
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in incident management.
• Scripting skills in Python, and Bash/Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Exposure to Financial products.
• Understanding of Trading Life Cycle.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Finance MBA with Engineering Degree.
• Experience with HFT or Electronic Trading or Risk Management Systems.
• Experience in Crypto currencies.
• Good understanding of basics of OS (Linux), networking protocols, and machine resource management.
• Basic knowledge on analysis tool, such as Splunk or ELK Products.
• Prior experience as a Software Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
