Full Job Description
Responsibilities
Supporting and maintaining our state-of-the-art Post Trade systems by monitoring performance and ensuring system health across production environments.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, trade support, and global end users to define requirements, troubleshoot critical issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
Diagnosing complex technical bugs on existing platforms, documenting all interventions, and driving corrective actions to enhance system stability.
Leading initiatives for system migrations and automating manual tasks to boost operational efficiency and scalability.
Designing enhancements that enable self-correction capabilities while integrating new execution venues, trading products, and data vendors.
Establishing rigorous certification criteria for all system enhancements before production release, ensuring seamless testing and deployment workflows.
Qualifications
At least 2–6 years of experience in a fast-paced global environment, with proven success diagnosing and resolving high-priority production issues.
Hands-on expertise supporting enterprise applications using Java, Python, Linux shell scripting, and job schedulers. Strong proficiency in both Java and Python is mandatory.
Proficiency working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions including MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
Background in electronic trading preferred, requiring a thorough understanding of financial instruments such as equities, commodities, credit products, interest rates, FX, cryptocurrencies, futures, forwards, and options.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to isolate and resolve complex technical challenges rapidly.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse global teams.
