About the Role

Enact, a U.S.-based private mortgage insurance provider for Raleigh-based lenders and borrowers seeking homeownership stability, is hiring a Reinsurance Operations Analyst Intern. In this role, you will support deal onboarding, reinsurance management, reporting, project management, surveillance, and data-driven operational improvement while collaborating with internal business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to document business requirements and processes in Raleigh, NC.
• Identify trends, generate insights, and communicate key findings to facilitate data-driven decision making or storytelling for the local market.
• Obtain weekly project status from all team members within our hybrid workspace.
• Organize and schedule meetings effectively while preparing and assisting in comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide consistent updates on ongoing projects to all stakeholders across departments.
• Identify operational requirements and opportunities for improvement specific to the insurance industry landscape.
• Determine appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data using advanced Excel skills.
• Collaborate across the Enact Re team in Raleigh to contribute to the success of team initiatives as directed by the Reinsurance Operations Manager.
• Support Enact's values of Improvement and Connection through participation in weekly events and development opportunities designed for interns.
