Reference data management

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage 2+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in educational, operational, control, or change management capacities, with a strong focus on reference data and analytics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of global markets, securities, crypto, and/or derivatives businesses (buy or sell side).
• Thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively interacting with quant and technology teams across all levels.
• Oversee the systematic and manual setup and maintenance of reference data, adhering to customer-focused Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide domain expertise for reference data, covering all aspects of instrument static data (identifiers, classifiers, descriptive data for financial instruments across all asset classes), corporate actions, product classifications, client/book hierarchies, and other essential data sets like holiday calendars.
• Monitor automated intraday and batch reference data flows, ensuring timely resolution of data breaks.
• Support enhancements and re-architecting of existing data capture and validation processes, including facilitating enterprise data management and security master platform implementation.
• Continuously review and enhance data capture processes and the associated control environment through automation and a robust process/procedures framework.
• Ensure all instrument reference data is maintained accurately and in a timely manner across all necessary systems and data repositories, in coordination with client onboarding and operational teams.
• Produce outputs related to data quality monitoring and control processes for periodic operational reporting and to support prioritization of process improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis with a focus on reference data.
• Experience in financial markets, including securities, crypto, or derivatives.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and data quality controls.
