React.js Team lead

Role: React.js Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Technical Leader to spearhead our development efforts. You will lead a high-performing team of developers building scalable and maintainable applications using modern technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of front-end developers in delivering scalable and maintainable web applications using React.js.
• Own the architecture and technical decisions for complex UI features and front-end systems.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and enforce development best practices.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, DevOps, and QA to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Drive performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
• Manage task allocation, sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Ensure a high standard of UI/UX consistency and quality across the product.

Technical Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with React.js, including Hooks, Context API, and Redux.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS.
• Solid experience in designing component libraries, design systems, and atomic design structures.
• Familiarity with Next.js, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and static site generation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON data handling.
• Experience working with Webpack, Babel, and front-end build optimization.
• Expertise in unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) and integration testing.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, code versioning tools like Git, and tools like ESLint, Prettier.
• Experience deploying and scaling front-end applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Bonus Skills:

Exposure to micro frontends, performance profiling tools, and A/B testing frameworks is highly valued.

Leadership & Communication:

• Proven experience leading a front-end or full-stack development team.
• Ability to set coding standards, development workflows, and agile best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

You must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive choices under tight timelines. You will have at least 2 years of leadership experience within your total career span (6-7+ years).
