React/Full Stack UI Engineer

About the Role:

Adobe is seeking a React/Full Stack UI Engineer to spearhead the automation and development of internal tools crucial for managing adobe.com websites across more than 90 geographies and 40 languages. This role involves building scalable automation solutions designed to enhance and streamline content production workflows, empowering teams to efficiently manage and publish global digital experiences.

You will collaborate with AEM, Edge Delivery Services, and Web Production teams to architect and implement cutting-edge web applications and automation platforms leveraging React, Node.js, and cloud-native technologies. A key aspect of this position is integrating Generative AI (GenAI) to develop intelligent systems for content auditing, production workflow automation, and decision support, ultimately scaling web operations and boosting efficiency.

Candidates should possess strong frontend expertise in React, practical experience with Node.js, and a proven track record of building end-to-end applications and automation tools that address significant business challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with International Project Leads to deliver automation solutions that accelerate content authoring and publishing workflows.
• Develop robust automation platforms and internal tools using React, Node.js, and modern web frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable MERN-based applications, deploying them via Docker and cloud-native pipelines.
• Create automation solutions to streamline large-scale content production activities across diverse geographies and languages.
• Build GenAI-powered solutions for content auditing, workflow automation, intelligent insights, and overall efficiency improvements.
• Partner with AEM and Edge Delivery teams to integrate web production needs into new platform capabilities.
• Integrate with APIs such as Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint API, and other enterprise systems to automate data-driven workflows.
• Develop and maintain reusable components, utilities, and automation frameworks to increase development velocity.
• Resolve issues related to AEM, Edge Delivery Services (Franklin/Helix), and web automation systems.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, sprint planning, and Jira story grooming to define scalable automation strategies.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to uphold high engineering quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, internal tools, and system architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure web production perspectives are integrated into engineering initiatives for adobe.com.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in building modern web applications.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, XML, AJAX, and Object-Oriented JavaScript.
• Experience developing full-stack applications with Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proven experience building applications from concept to deployment, including architecture design.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building automation tools and scalable engineering solutions for operational workflows.
• Experience with GenAI or AI-assisted development is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint API is beneficial.
• Experience with databases like Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic, or Solr, including schema design and optimization.
• Proficiency in Git-based development workflows.
• Experience with Docker or containerized deployments.
• Experience with CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of modern development practices (CI/CD, testing, Agile).
• Ability to design reusable utilities and frameworks independently.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex JavaScript, CSS, and performance issues.
• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Aptitude for quickly understanding enterprise-scale workflows and distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for global team collaboration.
• Knowledge of Adobe products and services is an added advantage.
