React UI Mid Level Developer

CGI is seeking an experienced React UI Mid-Level Developer for a full-time Software Engineer position in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role is ideal for a developer passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver exceptional client solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React.js.
• Implement and manage application state with Redux, Context API, or similar modern state management libraries.
• Architect reusable, maintainable, and high-performance UI components.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot complex UI and production issues.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with Redux or alternative state management solutions (e.g., Context API, Zustand).
• Solid expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with REST API integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
