Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented React Native Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join a Series A funded California-based Software Development Company. This is a full-time, permanent remote position managed by Uplers.
Role Overview
As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining production-ready mobile applications using React Native CLI (non-Expo). You'll take ownership of tasks, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and collaborate closely with design and backend teams.
Scope of Work
- Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications using React Native CLI.
- Implement responsive, pixel-perfect UIs across various devices and screen sizes.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned features, including development, bug resolution, and enhancements.
- Debug issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Integrate with backend REST APIs and handle real-world production data.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the feature delivery process.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2-4 years of hands-on React Native development experience.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and React fundamentals.
- Proven experience working with REST APIs.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows.
- Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for assigned tasks.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
- Exposure to native module integration or platform-specific fixes.
- Understanding of app build and release processes for the Play Store and App Store.
