React JS Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer – SDE-1 who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable, and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to create seamless experiences using modern JavaScript technologies.

Our technology stack is heavily built around JavaScript, and you will have the opportunity to work across multiple services and integrate them into a unified and reliable system.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components and frontend architecture.
• Work with JavaScript (ES6+), React, Redux, and modern frontend development practices.
• Translate product and design requirements into intuitive and customer-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with multiple backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other Engineering teams.
• Write clean, modular, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Identify and resolve performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and continuously improve development practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in frontend or web development.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with React.js.
• Good understanding of Redux or similar state-management libraries.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Experience with SASS/SCSS, Tailwind CSS, or CSS-in-JS.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

• Experience building customer-facing B2C applications.
• Experience with hybrid applications or mobile-web experiences.
• Exposure to frontend performance optimization and web accessibility.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based deployment workflows.
• Experience working in a product-based, e-commerce, fintech, health-tech, or consumer internet environment.
