React Intern

Zorvyn, a prominent FinTech company in India, is seeking a technically adept and detail-oriented React Developer Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and production-ready user interfaces within our financial technology ecosystem. Successful candidates will possess strong core JavaScript skills, a solid understanding of browser APIs, practical experience with structured API endpoints, and a commitment to adhering to internal engineering, security, and documentation standards. The role involves close collaboration with product engineering teams, including backend services, security, and product design, to deliver compliant and high-performing interfaces that support critical financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular and reusable UI components utilizing vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and DOM APIs.
• Integrate frontend views with RESTful backend services, ensuring precise data handling and state management.
• Implement responsive layouts that comply with internal UX guidelines and broad device compatibility requirements.
• Participate in version-controlled workflows using Git and GitHub, including branching, code reviews, and merge requests.
• Diagnose and resolve UI defects, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser inconsistencies through effective debugging.
• Write code in accordance with internal secure coding guidelines and contribute to team-level documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support new features, enhancements, and platform-wide upgrades.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of JavaScript ES fundamentals and browser runtime behavior.
• Clear understanding of web layout principles, including semantic HTML and CSS.
• Practical experience in DOM manipulation and handling client-side interactions.
• Basic familiarity with consuming REST APIs, including JSON parsing and error handling.
• Working proficiency with Git and GitHub for code versioning and collaborative development.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks as project scopes evolve.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for seamless cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to commit to a full-time, six-month internship without interruption.

Compensation

Stipend: INR 35,000 per month. Performance-based PPO opportunity up to INR 11 LPA annually.
