R&D Engineer 4

Keysight Technologies, Inc. is seeking a R&D Engineer 4 (advertised as Senior Software Engineer) to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical direction of products designed for testing cutting-edge ultra-high speed networks and AI Data Centres. You will be a technical champion, consultant to senior management, and involved in all aspects of product development, including architecture, design, development, testing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong software development and debugging skills, with expertise in algorithms, data structures, and managing large codebases.
• Automate tasks using scripting languages (shell script, Perl, Python) and embrace modern software development workflows like Agile, Test Driven Development, API-first approach, and DevOps.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration and effectively engaging with customers at senior technical levels.
• Maintain a keen interest in technology, continuously learning and adapting to new skills and emerging areas.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage advancements to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
