EY Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for its rapidly growing Internal Audit practice in Noida, India. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to a leading firm while shaping a new service offering within EY GDS Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data workflows using Alteryx to prepare, cleanse, and transform data from various sources for analysis.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate data needs into effective analytical solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, promoting best practices in Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data workflows and dashboards for efficient data processing and visualization.
• Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, working across departments and instilling client confidence through quality work.
• Manage competing priorities effectively while collaborating with customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate an understanding of business processes (e.g., procure to pay, order to cash) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), which is considered a plus.
• Utilize strong communication skills to understand business problems and discuss findings with non-data-science stakeholders.
• Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives.

Client Management:

• Understand client business and industry trends.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients and onshore teams.
• Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with clients.

Market Leadership:

• Participate in business development initiatives.
• Support innovation initiatives leveraging technologies like PowerApps, Power Automate, and Advanced Analytics.
• Contribute to thought leadership content and practice innovation.

Quality Delivery:

• Independently execute assignments and manage multiple projects and teams.
• Ensure quality delivery within established timelines and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Apply an application and solution-based approach to problem-solving and documentation.
• Identify and escalate engagement-related risks.
• Recommend process improvements based on client business processes and industry practices.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to support their career growth.

Operational Aspects:

• Ensure compliance with the firm's risk management strategies.
• Manage engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collateral and proposals.
• Support engagement managers in staffing engagements.
