Radio Access Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana. This permanent position requires a professional with a solid background in RAN optimization and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze Network Performance data, including anomaly detection.
• Generate and present Network Performance reports, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and top offenders.
• Configure reporting views, queries, and dashboards within Performance Management tools.
• Establish network parameter baselines for optimal performance.
• Identify and recommend actions, including potential hardware changes, to enhance network performance.
• Conduct pre- and post-optimization assessments, presenting findings and recommendations.
• Perform database consistency checks for topology and configuration management (CM).

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience with Radio Optimization processes, specifically with vendors like Ericsson (E///), Huawei, Nokia, and Samsung.
• Proven experience in Radio Optimization across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of parameters and features for at least two of the following vendors: Ericsson (E///), Huawei, Nokia, Samsung.
• Experience in Radio Optimization projects within mobile operator environments.
• Proficiency with Atoll and MapInfo tools.
• Experience with Network Logical Configuration, including power, electrical tilt, technologies, and bands.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating Network Performance Data.
• A degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Radio Access Network Engineering, with a focus on Ericsson (E///), Huawei, Nokia, Samsung vendors, and all relevant technologies, particularly 4G, VoLTE, and 5G (SA and NSA).
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant vendor training certifications (e.g., Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Samsung).
• Experience with other Mobile Operators' networks in planning, optimization, troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and reporting.
• Strong soft skills, including communication and problem-solving, alongside robust hard skills in technical proficiency, analysis, and programming.
