Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, Hyderabad/Secunderabad, or Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing and validation processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, track, and monitor defects to ensure timely resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate actively in design reviews and code audits to provide constructive feedback on quality standards and system testability.
• Implement automation strategies for testing processes to significantly improve operational efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end product quality.
• Conduct rigorous performance and load testing to assess the application's scalability, reliability, and resilience under stress conditions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Demonstrable strong understanding of industry-standard software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile Testing, Test-Driven Development).
• Proven experience with leading test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver for UI and JUnit/TestNG for unit/integration testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, or C# specifically tailored for building robust test automation suites.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile project management methodologies to work effectively within iterative development cycles.
• Excellent analytical thinking skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
• Demonstrated attention to detail combined with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments across India's tech hubs.
