About the Opportunity
HummingBird is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer on behalf of its client, a leading technology-driven organization based in Noida. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and functionality of software products.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements to identify testing risks and strategies.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts (Functional, Integration, System, Regression).
- Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts in Agile environments.
- Execute tests across different environments to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Maintain accurate testing documentation and communicate quality risks effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies.
- Hands-on expertise with defect tracking tools (JIRA) and test management platforms.
Technical Skills
We value candidates who possess hands-on experience with:
- Automation Testing: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium.
- Programming: Java, Python, JavaScript.
- API Testing: Postman, REST Assured.
- Databases: SQL and relational databases.
- CMS/CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
Preferred Skills
An advantage to have experience with performance testing (JMeter), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Docker), API/integration testing frameworks, and ISTQB certification.
Candidate Profile
