CloudKaptan is actively seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Kolkata. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and user-friendliness of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining comprehensive test suites, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with our development team to guarantee the delivery of robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Perform manual testing duties, including designing test strategies, contributing to test plans, executing tests, and managing the defect lifecycle within test management tools.
• Oversee test implementation, including pre-build and post-build testing measures.
• Develop test strategies that align with Behaviour-Driven-Development (BDD) standards.
• Commit to high-quality test execution, with a strong emphasis on cross-browser testing.
• Provide detailed execution reports to customers following post-regression testing.
• Knowledge of automation testing is beneficial and will be supported for growth.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test reports and documentation.
• Document test results and report defects clearly and concisely.
• Maintain and update test documentation, ensuring traceability of test cases to requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience with Salesforce is a significant advantage.
• Proven experience in writing test strategies.
• Experience reviewing test strategies is a plus.
• Proficiency in cross-browser test execution.
• Experience generating reports from Test Management tools and sharing them with clients.
• Essential skills in quality bug maintenance.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• A willingness to learn and grow in automation testing is highly welcomed.
