QA Lead Developer

Marzi is seeking a motivated QA Associate to spearhead quality assurance efforts as the inaugural member of our QA team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to own quality for our B2C mobile product, establish robust QA processes from the ground up, and drive automation to ensure faster, more reliable product releases in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume end-to-end ownership of quality assurance for our B2C mobile application.
• Develop and implement automation frameworks utilizing Selenium with Python.
• Automate test cases for critical mobile app functionalities and user journeys.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to guarantee high-quality product releases.
• Establish comprehensive QA processes, including test planning, reporting mechanisms, and release readiness assessments.
• Manage CI/CD testing pipelines, integrating with tools like Jenkins.
• Effectively identify, track, and ensure the closure of bugs with detailed documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Selenium, and Jenkins.
• Demonstrated experience in automating mobile application testing.
• A solid understanding of QA best practices, regression testing strategies, and test design.
• Previous experience within a B2C product company is highly advantageous.
• An ownership mindset and comfort working independently as an initial solo QA lead.
• Familiarity with Appium or other mobile automation tools.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced product development environment.
