QA Engineer

This is a hands-on product QA role focused on exploratory testing, breaking software, and understanding system mechanics within an AI workflow platform used for production applications. You will test the visual workflow builder, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered workflows to uncover edge cases.

Responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans based on requirements, executing manual tests across platforms, identifying defects using tools like Jira or Linear with clear reproduction steps, collaborating closely with developers and product managers, performing regression testing, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), maintaining accurate documentation, and advocating for quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience), strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies, familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla, and basic knowledge of software development processes. Key soft skills are attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, communication for cross-functional collaboration, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications include experience testing web and mobile applications, familiarity with scripting/automation tools like Selenium or Postman (not required), and knowledge of SQL for database testing.
