QA Engineer

HDIPlatform is seeking a talented SDET-I to join our dedicated QA engineering team in Noida, India. This role is crucial for ensuring the unwavering reliability and superior quality of our innovative SaaS platform. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust automated test solutions, fostering close collaboration with our development and product teams, and significantly enhancing our overall test coverage. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Perform comprehensive functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
• Collaborate effectively with developers to gain a deep understanding of features and to define precise test strategies.
• Identify, log, meticulously track, and validate defects using Jira.
• Actively participate in requirement reviews, providing valuable testability feedback.
• Uphold stringent quality standards across all releases within a dynamic SaaS environment.
• Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with Selenium for implementing automation testing solutions.
• Strong proficiency in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking workflows, particularly with Jira.
• A solid foundational understanding of software testing principles and established QA methodologies.
• Demonstrable experience in testing sophisticated web-based applications.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
• Prior experience working with SaaS products or cloud-based applications is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and other REST clients.
• A basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their role in software delivery.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
