QA engineer

About the Role

NIQ is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with over 3 years of experience and strong analytical capabilities to elevate product quality. This role is integral to a dynamic and evolving process focused on delivering high-quality products to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases.
• Test ongoing releases, including new functionalities.
• Report bugs in Jira.
• Execute regression test sets.
• Perform manual testing of user interfaces and workflows.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and running test cases; software testing experience is a plus.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and bug detection skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Programming knowledge (OOP, Java, Python, or other languages).
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins.
• Practical experience with Web, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Experience with bug tracking systems.
