
QA Engineer II
Full Job Description
Join Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a QA Engineer II in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. This hybrid role requires an average of 2 days per week in the HPE office. You will be responsible for setting and maintaining quality standards for company products through systematic processes. This includes developing, modifying, and executing software test strategies, plans, and suites. You will analyze and write test standards and procedures, documenting test results to aid in debugging and software modification. The role involves analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommending corrective actions, potentially developing automation tools and environments. You will also consult with development engineers to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design quality assurance and test processes for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware across various platforms.
- Analyze designs and determine necessary test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities.
- Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation, identifying and debugging code issues.
- Participate in project teams to develop reliable and cost-effective testing solutions.
- Collaborate and communicate with development partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency with software quality assurance tools and processes.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodology, including test plan execution, debugging, and scripting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software and firmware design across multiple platform types.
- Mastery in English (written and verbal communication skills).
- Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
