QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer in our talented team, you will collaborate closely with a distributed, cross-functional product team on the Odyssey product, a multi-tenant SAAS application for international container shipping companies. Working alongside domain and carrier management system experts, you will help build an integrated, end-to-end system that revolutionizes operations for our carrier customers. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and deploying mission-critical functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate within an agile environment, fostering close collaboration within a cross-functional team.
• Analyze business requirements to design and execute comprehensive test cases for our applications.
• Conduct hands-on functional and non-functional testing of our applications.
• Document and communicate test findings and results effectively to the team.
• Contribute to the creation of test automation for our applications.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of direct experience in software application testing.
• Solid understanding of the software development process, its phases, and deliverables.
• Adept at understanding user needs and possessing a strong quality-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for our global teams.
• Comfortable working with global and virtual teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium.
• Familiarity with SDLC tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Experience in software development environments and tools such as Git and various programming languages.
• Quality assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or equivalent professional experience are desirable.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
