Full Job Description
ZebPay is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to lead end-to-end testing for our advanced crypto trading, staking, and wallet systems. This role involves comprehensive automation, API validation, and smart contract verification, alongside close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the mentorship of junior QA professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute robust test strategies for all crypto trading, staking, and wallet functionalities.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, API, and automation testing across both backend and frontend modules.
- Validate smart contract integrations, ensure accuracy of blockchain data synchronization, and verify transaction flows across various blockchain networks.
- Build and maintain efficient test automation suites utilizing industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Perform precise API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent platforms.
- Collaborate effectively with DevOps, frontend, and backend engineering teams to guarantee comprehensive test coverage across development, staging, UAT, and testnet environments.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Asana, ensuring their timely resolution prior to product releases.
- Execute load, security, and failover testing protocols for our critical crypto exchange infrastructure.
- Provide essential support for release validation and conduct production sanity checks post-deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, including reviewing their test cases and automation scripts.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, including proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking systems such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or k6, and a foundational understanding of security validation principles.
- Prior experience within the cryptocurrency domain is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical, debugging, and documentation capabilities are essential.
This opportunity is based in Bawana, Delhi, India and is a permanent position with a salary range of INR 400,000 to INR 835,000 per annum. The role requires 2 to 4 years of experience.
