QA Automation fresher

Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA Automation Fresher to join our team in Chennai, India. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with basic knowledge of manual testing and an interest in automation tools like Playwright or Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze application requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Execute various tests including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium.
• Manage defects by identifying issues, documenting them in Jira, and tracking resolution.
• Analyze test failures to perform basic troubleshooting.
• Actively participate in the full testing lifecycle: planning, execution, and reporting.
• Update automation scripts as applications evolve.
• Collaborate with development teams to investigate bugs.

Required Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of SDLC / STLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Solid grasp of Manual Testing concepts.
• Basics in automation with Playwright or Selenium.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with Locators (XPath / CSS), Assertions, Waits, and handling dynamic elements (alerts, frames).
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (B.E / B.Tech / BCA etc.).
• Fresh graduates with relevant projects are preferred.
