VML is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with Manual Testing experience to join our dynamic team in New Delhi, India. This role emphasizes a 'shift-left' approach, integrating quality from the outset of development, particularly within our e-commerce environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a 'shift-left' approach by participating in requirements analysis, design reviews, and technical discussions to ensure testability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to define test strategies.
• Act as a quality advocate and guide within project teams and the wider community.
• Provide test estimates and contribute to project planning.
• Independently analyze requirements to design, document, and execute test cases and Exploratory Test Charters.
• Perform comprehensive System Testing, System Integration Testing, and exploratory testing across web applications, services, and backend systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers on root cause analysis.
• Execute and report on manual and automated test suites, analyzing results and communicating quality metrics.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts, primarily using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Automate E2E, API, and backend tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation reliability, maintainability, and coverage.
• Utilize strong backend testing skills, including SQL querying and server log analysis.
• Contribute to non-functional testing, such as compatibility and accessibility.
