QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

Cognologix Technologies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (5-8 years experience) based in Pune to build robust test automation frameworks for cloud-native applications. You will deploy client applications with confidence through meaningful automation, focusing on integration and end-to-end testing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Understand products completely and collaborate with developers/architects to build automation scripts.
• Improve non-functional test performance via parallelization.
• Manage defects, traceability matrices, and security breaking tests.

Technical Requirements:

• Micro-service testing using HTTP, Curl, Postman, Fiddler, Swagger.
• Coding proficiency in Java/Python/C# with Linux shell scripting experience.
• Create reusable, modular test code (Junit/TestNG) and UI tests (Selenium).
• Validate AI features including prompt/response verification and hallucination checks.

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating GenAI tools like Codium or Co-Pilot into QA pipelines.
• Knowledge of bias, fairness, and explainability in automated testing.
• Load/stress testing (JMeter/Gatling) and security/resilience validation.
