QA Automation Engineer

Your Impact

• Lead and execute product verification and test automation for complex, distributed systems.
• Translate high-level product requirements into comprehensive manual test plans to maximize coverage and customer experience.
• Design, automate, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) tests for Angular-based user interfaces and REST APIs.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using industry best practices.
• Plan, build, and manage lab or simulation environments for advanced system-level testing.
• Identify, investigate, and communicate software defects with potential customer impact, collaborating with development teams.
• Provide clear, actionable test status updates to global stakeholders and evaluate emerging test automation tools and approaches.

What You Need

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
• Strong programming proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of system, functional, regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with frontend test automation frameworks (e.g., Webdriver.io, Cypress, Playwright) and BDD tools (e.g., Jasmine, Cucumber).
• Proficiency in backend testing, including REST API and database testing (e.g., Postman, Newman).
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab).
• Solid operational experience with Unix/Linux and modern microservices-based web architectures.

What Would Be Nice

• Experience with load and performance testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with configuration management and system test automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell, Ansible).
• Frontend development knowledge (e.g., HTML, CSS, SVG, Angular, Node.js).
• Backend development exposure (e.g., Java, Java EE).
• Experience with modern productivity and Generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot).
