QA Analyst

Solvios Technology is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester with practical experience in testing .NET-based applications. This role is crucial for conducting internal testing and pre-deployment validation, identifying defects, and ensuring the highest product quality prior to release. The position involves performing manual and automation testing for web and desktop applications developed using .NET technologies. Responsibilities include conducting thorough internal testing after developer handover and before deployment, creating and executing comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test reports, as well as identifying, logging, and meticulously tracking defects through to resolution. Collaboration with development teams to understand requirements and validate fixes is essential. The QA Tester will ensure the final product adheres to stringent quality standards before deployment, performing various testing types such as regression, functional, usability, and compatibility testing. Participation in requirement analysis, providing valuable QA perspectives, is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual & automation testing of web and desktop applications built on .NET technologies.
• Conduct internal testing after developer handover and before deployment.
• Create, execute, and document test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Identify, log, and track defects until closure.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and validate fixes.
• Ensure that the final product meets quality standards before deployment.
• Perform regression, functional, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Participate in requirement analysis and give inputs from a QA perspective.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Manual & Automation QA Tester.
• Hands-on experience testing .NET applications.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA processes.
• Experience in pre-deployment / internal testing.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Good understanding of databases (SQL basics).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
