Python UI Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python UI Test Engineer for an international team focused on designing, developing, and testing microservice-based applications specifically for the retail industry. You will be responsible for creating website test specifications, configuring complex test environments, debugging failures, and ensuring high-quality user interfaces across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop UI tests tailored to the retail sector.
• Collaborate within an international team on microservice applications, cloud deployment strategies, and device testing.
• Create rigorous website test specifications.
• Set up intricate test environments and troubleshoot failures effectively.
• Maintain functionality standards across multiple user interface platforms.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python.
• Expertise with Selenium automation tools.
• Familiarity with the Air Test Framework.
• Strong proficiency on both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience in designing and testing Website Test Specifications.
• Knowledge of basic Shell Scripting.
• Fundamental understanding of web technologies: Javascript, HTML, CSS.
• Practical knowledge of tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Industry-specific knowledge in the Retail sector.
• Understanding of containerization using Docker containers.
• Familiarity with version control and project management tools: Subversion, GIT, Redmine, GigaCC.
