Python Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python and FastAPI. Implement efficient algorithms to optimise application performance.
• Database Management: Develop SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), manage schema design, query optimisation, data modelling, and integrity.
• API Development: Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI for seamless frontend integration. Ensure proper documentation of endpoints.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers and frontend teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions meeting stakeholder requirements.
• Code Quality: Write clean, reusable Python code; participate in peer reviews following industry best practices.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks while monitoring application health.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency with FastAPI and RESTful API design principles (HTTP methods, security, authentication).
• Hands-on SQL/NoSQL database management experience.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems.
• Knowledge of software best practices including testing, CI/CD basics, and Docker is preferred. Experience in Bangalore or Hyderabad tech hubs is a plus.
