Python Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python AI/ML Engineer to build intelligent systems such as chatbots, AI assistants, data-driven APIs, and automation solutions. You will leverage modern AI frameworks, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG pipelines to create impactful applications within the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python-based Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain robust AI/ML applications using best practices.
• Build LLM-Powered Systems: Implement solutions for chatbots, document Q&A, summarization, intent detection, and similarity search.
• Pipeline Engineering: Construct ML pipelines covering data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and inference.
• API Development: Develop and optimize REST APIs using Fast API / Flask for seamless integration.
• Data Integration: Integrate AI solutions with SQL databases (SQL Alchemy) and vector databases (FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone).
• Optimization & Cost Management: Optimize model performance regarding latency, cost, and resource usage on CPU/GPU.
• Prompt Engineering: Craft effective prompts for LLMs and manage RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Fast API / Flask, and SQL/SQL Alchemy.
• AI/ML Expertise: Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face), NLP tasks (embeddings, classification), and machine learning fundamentals.

Priority Skills (Good to Have):

• RAG architecture implementation.
• Model deployment on CPU/GPU environments.
• Docker usage and cloud platform basics.
• On-prem AI deployment experience.
• LLM fine-tuning knowledge.
