Full Job Description
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Python DevOps Engineer, Director level, within Cyber Security Engineering to join the Data Access Protection Squad (DAP) in Bengaluru, India. This role is responsible for the support and evolution of the Varonis infrastructure platform, including DatAdvantage and Data Privilege applications, leveraging DevOps principles. Key responsibilities include platform support, reporting, data protection, and client support. The position requires strong SDLC skills for production automation and development, aiming to improve platform stability and support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will provide Varonis infrastructure support, data protection, and client assistance to business units, along with generating Data Privilege (DP) and DatAdvantage (DA) reports. This role will contribute to product expansion initiatives such as SaaS, Data Classification, and Data Alerting, ensuring global coverage and excellent business support. The candidate should possess over 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Protection and Client Support within IT or Data Security, with a strong foundation in Python programming/scripting, Data Structures & Algorithms, Data Security, and Problem-Solving. Familiarity with file/folder permissions, Active Directory (AD), and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, agile approach are essential. Experience with big data platforms like Splunk and reporting tools such as Splunk dashboards and Grafana is advantageous. Previous experience in global financial sector corporations is a plus.
