Automation (Python + DevOps) Engineer at PlusWealth Capital Management LLP

PlusWealth Capital Management LLP is actively seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our high-frequency trading (HFT) team in Gurugram, India. This role is pivotal in managing, optimizing, and scaling the infrastructure that powers our high-performance trading systems. Your responsibilities will encompass large-scale data processing, robust CI/CD pipeline implementation, and automation to ensure seamless, low-latency performance. You will collaborate closely with traders and developers to maintain system efficiency and handle substantial data loads with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain resilient infrastructure for high-performance trading and backtesting systems.
• Develop and implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover protocols to ensure continuous operations.
• Enhance and automate CI/CD pipelines with real-time issue detection and resolution for efficient deployments.
• Manage the deployment, configuration, and updates of open-source and proprietary applications, aligning with trading requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, and network systems, documenting processes for knowledge sharing.
• Automate key processes using Python, Bash, and Ansible for routine tasks, monitoring, and system health checks, leveraging tools like Grafana.
• Implement Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization/orchestration tools to optimize system scalability and reliability.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably within financial services, capital markets, or investment management.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux systems, including scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Git, Jenkins, and Nexus; familiarity with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices.
• Exposure to trading environments and low-latency systems is a significant advantage.
