About The Role

Jobrapido is currently seeking a Full-stack Python Developer for an exciting 12-month remote engagement. As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support robust technical solutions.

You will work across both backend and frontend applications, managing APIs, data platforms, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines using Python alongside modern cloud and open-source technologies. A particular emphasis is placed on AWS services and serverless initiatives where you will build features, refine engineering workflows, solve complex challenges, and ensure deliverables are maintainable and responsive to user needs.

Qualifications

We seek candidates with strong hands-on experience in Python and full-stack software development, including API design. Proficiency with SQL and relational databases is essential, along with a solid understanding of NoSQL data stores and distributed systems. Experience with Apache Spark, AWS services, and job orchestration tools like AWS Step Functions or Airflow is highly valued.

You should possess practical experience in modern application architecture and be comfortable selecting appropriate design patterns for moderately complex domains. Familiarity with containers, open-source technologies, automated builds, and deployment pipelines is required. Strong debugging skills across all layers—from local development to production environments—are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile colleagues to design, implement, test, deploy, and support software features ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop full-stack functionality, APIs, data workflows, and integrations while prioritizing user experience and non-functional requirements.
• Build comprehensive local development, build, and deployment pipelines, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across backend, frontend, middleware, infrastructure, databases, and distributed systems to diagnose root causes efficiently.
• Apply established engineering standards while working independently on defined tasks and contributing to larger software initiatives.
