About The Role

Collabera is seeking a Python GenAI Developer for a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a major banking client in Jersey City, New Jersey, or Tampa, Florida. This hybrid role requires candidates to be local and able to work onsite as required.

Your Impact:

• Develop backend systems, APIs, and data processing solutions while integrating large language model (LLM) and generative AI capabilities into enterprise workflows.
• Design scalable Python backend systems with a focus on microservices and API-driven architecture.
• Build RESTful services for data ingestion, processing, and integration using NumPy and Pandas.
• Create pipelines that handle structured and unstructured data to support complex business use cases in the banking industry.

Key Requirements:

You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5-7 years of experience. Strong Python skills are essential, along with expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and data engineering concepts like ETL. Familiarity with distributed systems (Hadoop, Spark), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and financial services environments is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
