Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with 2-4 years of experience in software development, architecture, and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development processes, commercial topics, and strategy implementation, including Proofs of Concept (POCs). Experience within Siemens sector domains such as Industry, Energy, Healthcare, Infrastructure, and Cities is highly preferred. International experience with global projects and cross-cultural team collaboration is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include developing software solutions using various application programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, NumPy). You will be an expert in data engineering, building robust data pipelines, and implementing algorithms in distributed environments. Proficiency in data science and machine learning techniques is essential. Experience in developing and deploying web applications on cloud platforms using Flask or Django is required, along with a drive for adopting cloud technologies for data processing and warehousing.

You should possess solid experience with various databases, particularly in the NoSQL domain, and have a strong understanding of building REST APIs and microservices architectures. Familiarity with Java is considered an added advantage. A good understanding of web servers, load balancers, and deployment processes is also necessary.

This role requires advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle and software engineering processes. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities, are mandatory. Experience with Jira and Confluence is beneficial. We embrace Agile/Lean development methodologies using Scrum and appreciate experience with Rapid Programming techniques and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
