About the Role

This is an on-site role focused on developing and maintaining the backend systems essential for real-time features supporting numerous e-commerce businesses. You will be instrumental in creating scalable APIs, integrating with external platforms, and tackling significant performance and scalability challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the backend development of our core product utilizing Python and Django.
• Construct reliable APIs and backend logic to power real-time functionalities for a vast e-commerce client base.
• Collaborate effectively with front-end engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.
• Contribute to database design, performance tuning, and the overarching system architecture.
• Engage in proactive team communication, share innovative ideas, and participate fully in the development lifecycle within a collaborative setting.

Must Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Python and Django development.
• Strong proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, including writing optimized queries.
• Proven ability in debugging, writing unit tests, and enhancing production environment performance.
• A proactive approach to learning new technologies and continuous skill development.
