Full Job Description
As a Python Developer with Talent Worx, you will join the HR People Analytics team working on the Blackstone Account. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with data managers, reporting professionals, and data scientists to deliver ad hoc analyses and self-serve analytical systems, such as Tableau dashboards and machine learning recommendations. You will contribute to creating and maintaining an SQL and Python codebase that supports HR business logic, including data models, dictionaries, validations, and delivery via REST APIs. This role requires writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and Python code, understanding complex analytics use cases, and providing solutions that adhere to HR analytics best practices and optimize the analytics platform. You will also build and automate user-friendly, self-service reports and dashboards using Tableau software, transforming large datasets into insightful reports and visualizations for leaders and HR professionals.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- Proven experience in Python, including knowledge of at least one Python web framework like Flask or Django.
- Understanding of Python's threading limitations and multi-process architecture.
- Familiarity with code repositories such as Git or SVN, and pipeline and cloud tooling like Docker, Jenkins, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Experience analyzing data and generating reports using SQL, including designing database schemas to represent and support business processes.
- Preferred experience working with SAAS HR Systems (e.g., Workday) and Tableau.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience working directly with business end-users.
