Python Developer

We are seeking experienced Python Developers to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to understand and analyze complex business logic and potential test candidates. You will work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to grasp requirements and develop a comprehensive Test Strategy and Plan. Your ability to design and write complex test scenarios and cases will be crucial for ensuring maximum test coverage and mitigating quality risks. Responsibilities include executing System, Regression, and Integration test cases within an Agile Development model. A thorough understanding of the Test Management Lifecycle and Defect Life Cycle is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration across the organization. Candidates must possess strong skills in API and UI Test Automation using Python. Experience with CI/CD implementation and BDD techniques, specifically Gherkin (using Given, When, Then syntax for test scenarios), is highly desirable. This is a client-facing role at one of Scout's partners.
