Python Backend Developer

About This Role

We are seeking a talented Python Backend Developer for our fully remote team to design, implement, and maintain robust backend services powering the Kloud360 platform.

Your Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing scalable Python APIs using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Maintaining relational and NoSQL databases with a focus on schema design and query optimization.
• Ensuring system security, reliability, and performance in cloud environments (Docker, CI/CD).
• Collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and domain experts across time zones.
• Participating in architectural decisions, code reviews, and continuous deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python backend development and RESTful API design (JSON-based).
• Solid understanding of database management systems and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Git version control, testing frameworks, debugging, and DevOps workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred: Experience with e-learning platforms, compliance software, or maritime industry solutions. Ability to work autonomously from design through production support is essential.
