Python Backend Developer

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Python API AWS Engineer specializing in GenAI to join our CodeInsight team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS for documentation intelligence workflows. You will improve system reliability, secure enterprise integrations, and ensure scalable asynchronous processing across API, pipeline, and AI inference layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex cloud solutions using AWS services (Lambda, S3, SQS FIFO, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Bedrock, Secrets Manager, SNS, CloudWatch, SageMaker).
• Build secure API workflows for Jenkins, Bitbucket Server REST APIs, and internal tooling.
• Develop high-quality Python code for cloud-native and serverless applications.
• Optimize data models for DynamoDB and S3 job artifact flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver architecture-aligned solutions.
• Maintain security, compliance (OAuth2, IAM least privilege), and best practices in cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot distributed environments focusing on async orchestration and failure handling.
• Junior engineers mentoring and contributing to engineering standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years in cloud engineering with a strong AWS focus.
• Strong Python, AWS APIs, and backend service development expertise.
• Production-ready GenAI/LLM solution delivery (AWS Bedrock).
• DynamoDB and cloud data design pattern mastery.
• Mastery of Lambda, Step Functions, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Bedrock, etc.
• Prompt engineering and LLM output validation expertise.
• Event-driven architecture knowledge (idempotency, retries).

Nice to Have:

• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform experience.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer).
• Project management skills for multiple environments.
