Python AWS Engineer

Job Summary

Kloudportal Technology Solutions is seeking a hands-on AWS Python Developer to join their AWS Development Squad. The role focuses on building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud solutions by developing modern AWS microservices and event-driven integrations. A key aspect of the role involves extracting and processing data from an Enterprise SAP landscape utilizing AWS-native services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing AWS transformation initiative centered on speed, quality, and DevOps-driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a core developer within an Agile AWS squad to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
• Design and develop AWS microservices using Python and serverless technologies.
• Build integrations with SAP systems leveraging SAP Webhooks and OData services.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub patterns and message queues.
• Champion DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop reusable and maintainable development patterns that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
• Participate actively in peer code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and retrospectives.
• Ensure AWS resource governance, including cost tagging and logging standards.
• Continuously assess new AWS services and propose platform enhancements.

Technology Stack

Mandatory Skills

• Extensive hands-on Python development experience.
• Proficiency in AWS Services including Lambda, API Gateway, SNS / SQS.
• Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Agile delivery experience using Jira.

Desirable Skills

• SAP Integration: SAP Webhooks, SAP OData Services, SAP Cloud (Hybris Commerce, Marketing, C4C).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / AWS CDK.
• Logging & Monitoring: Sumo Logic.
• Databases: Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with SAFE Agile / Scaled Agile frameworks.

• Modernization of existing event-driven Pub/Sub architectures.
• Migration and upgrade of mobile application microservices.
• Development of reusable frameworks for database-driven applications.
• Enterprise-grade AWS integration platform development.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving abilities with an emphasis on action, quality, and speed.
• AWS Certifications (Developer / DevOps Engineer) are preferred.
• SAP integration experience is a nice-to-have, not mandatory.
