Elrising Technology Services Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, West Bengal, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with expertise in both backend and frontend development, particularly using Python and Angular. This role is pivotal in leading the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Python-based applications. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and a passion for crafting clean, maintainable code to address complex challenges. A primary focus will be on creating scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs crucial for various product and initiative advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Python.
• Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive web applications leveraging Angular and Django.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Architect and develop API endpoints for effective integration with front-end applications.
• Optimize and refactor existing codebase to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within existing software applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong background in developing and maintaining backend services.
• Proficiency in Python and its core ecosystem, including frameworks like Django and Flask.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration, including model learning and fine-tuning, with specific experience in:

  • Bedrock Model Evaluation and Distillation
  • Amazon Nova
  • Amazon SageMaker
  • Amazon Q and Workflows
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Prompt Engineering
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS AI/ML services such as SageMaker and BedRock models, is preferred.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
