PUNCH PRESS OPERATOR

LISI Aerospace, a prominent manufacturing company in the City of Industry, California, is seeking a dedicated Punch Press Operator for its 1st shift operations. This role is crucial for producing high-quality parts using heavy-duty power presses, while strictly adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. The operator will be responsible for daily machine inspections, monitoring part quality against blueprint specifications using precision instruments, and accurately completing manufacturing and inspection documentation. Identifying and preventing cosmetic non-conformances, such as burrs or galling, by stopping production and notifying supervisors is also a key responsibility. Adherence to 5S department procedures, including maintaining a clean work area and proper tool organization, is mandatory. The role requires full compliance with all federal, local, and state government regulations, as well as LISI Aerospace and HSE policies. Continuous improvement of ISO 14001 standards and HSE performance through objective setting and progress measurement is expected. A commitment to reporting any known or suspected non-conformances immediately is essential. This is a full-time, onsite position.
