Blackbird Health, a clinician-founded organization, is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. We deliver innovative virtual and in-person mental health services for children and young adults. As a PMHNP, you will play a crucial role in conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing expert medication management. You will build strong therapeutic relationships with young patients and their families, offering support and guidance throughout their mental health journey. This hybrid role requires a commitment of at least 12 hours per week, with a minimum of two days worked in person at our Bala Cynwyd clinic, preferably during after-school hours (after 4 pm ET on weekdays) or on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and administer medication management tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Dedicate sufficient time to understand patient and family experiences, educate them on treatment options, and provide continuous support.
• Monitor patient progress towards care goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care.
• Provide consultation and education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and strategies for supporting their child's mental well-being.
• Oversee and interpret diagnostic testing, including digital and lab results.
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant patient records and progress notes.
• Perform other assigned clinical-related duties.

Schedule Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 hours per week, with a focus on 'after school hours' (after 4 pm ET weekdays) or weekends.
• In-person work required at our Bala Cynwyd, PA clinic for at least 2 days per week (options: Mon & Thurs, Tues & Fri, or Weds & Sat). The remaining days can be performed remotely.
