Prompt Engineer - AI Procurement Intelligence Platform

dSilo.ai is seeking a talented Prompt Engineer to join our AI Procurement Intelligence Platform team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and refining prompts, reasoning chains, and agent workflows to achieve high-accuracy extraction, analysis, and insight generation from procurement data. You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, product teams, and procurement domain experts to tackle complex challenges, including:

• Extracting structured data from intricate contracts.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and compliance adherence.
• Quantifying the financial impact of identified opportunities.
• Enhancing agentic reasoning across multi-step operational workflows.
• Continuously optimizing Large Language Model (LLM) performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong blend of technical expertise, structured thinking capabilities, and a keen awareness of business context.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience working with LLMs or AI systems.
• A robust understanding of prompt engineering techniques, chain-of-thought reasoning, structured outputs (including JSON schemas and function calling), and evaluation/benchmarking methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with foundation models such as GPT and Claude, along with RAG pipelines and API-based LLM integrations.
• Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills.
• Excellent written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in procurement, contract management, or financial analytics.
• Familiarity with GraphRAG or knowledge graph technologies.
• Experience in building AI agents.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with model fine-tuning or working with small language models (SLMs).
