Project Manager

USEReady is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support Data, Analytics, and AI-driven initiatives in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. This role is perfect for an individual early in their project management career with a foundational understanding of data ecosystems who aims to grow into managing complex, technology-driven programs.

About the Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects involving data platforms, advanced analytics solutions, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning use cases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Support end-to-end project delivery for Data, Analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Assist in defining project scope, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Track project progress, identify and manage risks, issues, and action items.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within defined scope, and according to budget.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

• Coordinate effectively with data engineers, analytics teams, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and status meetings.
• Prepare and disseminate project status reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Serve as a critical liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Agile & Delivery Support

• Support projects utilizing Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery methodologies.
• Maintain essential project artifacts, including user stories, backlogs, RAID logs, and comprehensive documentation.
• Assist Product Owners with backlog grooming and release planning activities.

Data, Analytics & AI Context

Provide project support for initiatives involving:

• Data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• AI/ML use cases such as predictive analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or automation.
• Assist in tracking key milestones for model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 10-14 years of total professional experience.
• 2–4 years of direct experience as a Project Coordinator, Junior Project Manager, or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Data, Analytics, or AI/ML projects.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Technical & Domain Knowledge

• Basic understanding of:
• Data engineering and analytics principles.
• The AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, and deployment.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (basic familiarity required).
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar.

Project Management Skills

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid delivery models.
• Strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.

Communication & Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong eagerness to learn and grow.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification (or actively pursuing one).
• Exposure to AI governance, data quality management, or MLOps concepts.
• Experience in industries such as Healthcare, Life Sciences, Finance, or Retail.
