Project Manager – CRM & Operational Automation Systems

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage CRM, workflow automation, and operational management software projects. This role is specifically tailored for businesses operating on time-slot-based models and other operational companies. The focus is on enhancing operations, revenue, workforce management, and customer management through sophisticated scheduling, booking, manufacturing workflow, recurring operation, workforce coordination, and operational efficiency systems.

The role also involves overseeing the implementation of manufacturing operational automation systems, including production tracking, inventory management, approval workflows, operational dashboards, workforce monitoring, and process optimization platforms. Industries we serve include, but are not limited to, manufacturing, healthcare, beauty services, training institutes, logistics, consultation services, and facilities management.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of business operations and financial models, with the ability to translate complex business processes into scalable CRM and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Project Ownership

  • Lead automation and software implementation projects for manufacturing and operational businesses.
  • Analyze business workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and understand reporting structures.
  • Develop and manage projects involving CRM systems, booking workflows, slot management, workforce allocation, customer lifecycle automation, dashboards, and operational analytics.
  • Define clear project scopes, workflows, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Ensure projects deliver tangible improvements in operational efficiency and measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and propose scalable, effective solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high implementation quality.

Client Communication

  • Conduct in-depth business requirement discussions with founders, plant managers, operations teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of time-slot-based business operations, customer lifecycle management, operational dependencies, and CRM reporting needs.
  • Translate complex operational processes into precise technical requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates and detailed execution reports.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Address escalations effectively and foster long-term client relationships.

Team Coordination

  • Collaborate effectively with developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other project team members.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress using project management tools, and ensure adherence to priorities and deadlines.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support team productivity and operational efficiency to achieve project goals.

Delivery & Quality Management

  • Ensure CRM and automation systems precisely match operational workflows and business models.
  • Validate automation logic, reporting structures, dashboards, and operational flows.
  • Oversee rigorous testing and quality assurance before deployment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, automations, and system architecture.
  • Continuously improve execution processes and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Uphold scalable and maintainable delivery standards.

Reporting & Operations

  • Prepare detailed project reports, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Maintain project dashboards and track key performance metrics.
  • Assist leadership in enhancing operational systems and SOPs.
  • Support hiring and onboarding processes for project teams as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven project management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.

Technical Understanding

A working knowledge of the following is essential:

  • CRM systems and customer lifecycle management.
  • Time-slot-based operational business models.
  • Booking systems, scheduling systems, and workforce allocation workflows.
  • Workflow automation and operational efficiency systems.
  • ERP and business management systems.
  • Dashboards, analytics, reporting systems, and operational KPIs.
  • APIs, integrations, cloud systems, and database-driven applications.
  • Agile project management and software delivery workflows.
  • Project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Notion, Slack, and Git.

While coding proficiency is not required, a deep understanding of operational processes and business dynamics is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in software project management or IT operations.
  • Experience in software development agencies or product companies.
  • Scrum Master or Agile certification is advantageous.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
