Project Engineering

V2X Inc is seeking a motivated Project Engineer I to join our dynamic team at our Indianapolis, IN facility. In this role, you will play a key part in the development of advanced air-based systems. You will coordinate and lead multi-discipline teams, including Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering, as well as Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance professionals, to ensure project objectives are achieved within budget and schedule constraints.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing technical leadership to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge products that support the entire program lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive project plans, driving the team towards innovative solutions that meet stringent technical requirements and cost targets, and ensuring all project disciplines execute effectively within the established program budget and schedule.

Key activities include coordinating the development of spend plans, staffing plans, project schedules, and program organizational charts. You will also support the creation of project backlogs, write user stories, and manage releases for Agile projects. Furthermore, you will participate in project reviews, prepare and present program cost, schedule, and performance data to business leadership and customers, and assist in Program Review preparations by supporting the program manager in developing review data.

This role also involves supporting proposals within the WSI Program areas, including assisting with engineering estimates, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and the writing and review of proposal volumes.
